Disney On Ice presents Rockin' Ever After!
Remember a couple of weeks when I told you all about Disney On Ice presents Rockin’ Ever After! coming to Chicago!?! Well it's HERE! NOW! We got to see it 2 nights ago on opening night at the United Center and I want to tell you how awesome it is!

"Get ready to rock out with some of the most magical idols of all in a musical showcase that features the hottest tunes and talent from across the kingdom in Disney On Ice presents Rockin’ Ever After! Jam to a Scottish jig as a group of royal contenders from the latest Disney•Pixar film, Brave, competes to win the heart of headstrong, sharp-shooting Merida, making her ice debut! Experience a show-stopping performance as Sebastian breaks out of his shell for one night only to make waves with Ariel. A chorus of harmless hooligans from Tangled unleashes musical mayhem when they get a visit from the sassy and spirited Rapunzel and her charming ally Flynn. And, get your feet moving as the Beast and his castle’s enchanted entourage take center stage in a spectacular show for Belle. It will be a rockin’ remix of royalty when Disney On Ice brings this superstar line-up to Chicagoland!?
This was
playing at Allstate Arena from January 23rd through the 27th so you've missed those shows, but it is still playing at the United Center from January 30th through February 10th and
FREE PARKING is included in all official arena parking lots. Parking is super easy over there so have no worries. If you live within a couple of hours of the Chicagoland area - this is a show you HAVE TO see! Your kids would love seeing Mickey, Mini, Donald and Goofy and all of the princesses! And so would you :)
Check out some of our photos, just please excuse the poor quality cell phone shots...

Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy were the hosts and did all the introducing and the rest of the cast reenacted all of the Disney movies. They had The Little Mermaid, a little bit from Cinderella, Brave, Beauty and the Beast and Tangled.
Our favorite was Beauty and the Beast - the Beast was awesome! Oh and I LOVED the part during Tangled where Rapunzel was talking to Maximus, "Who's a good boy?!??" - that was just as cute as the movie!
This was seriously the best show I have been to yet. We really enjoyed ourselves. Gracie dressed up in one of her Cinderella dresses. She had her sparkly silver shoes on and her frilly necklace, gloves and purse. She is still talking about it!
We spent an obscene amount of money at the extras for sure! But how can you not have a hot dog, nachos, popcorn and cotton candy!?! At least the popcorn came with a reusable tub and a princess crown that you see on Gracie above. We did purchase a light up toy and this cute photo below:

Isn't that cute!?!
She wouldn't stand there without me, so I had to hold her hand and try to stretch out of the shot.

ReplyDeleteOh my son would love this! He's at the perfect age! We had tickets to a show not too long ago (a different one) and decided against it because I"m SO pregnant and it's flu season, but after the baby comes I really want to start taking him to more things just like this. I want him to appreciate all the arts, and this is the way to start!
ReplyDeleteWe went to Disney On Ice too when they visited Cleveland, OH and had a blast. They definitely know how to put on a good show. Can't wait til they come back!
