In the photos above, do you see the strap at the bottom of the seat? Pulling that strap tightens the buckle straps and pushing the button above that black strap loosens the car seat straps. Adjusting the car seat straps is super easy which is nice depending on what Baby Jack is wearing.
My other favorite feature of this car seat is the Easy-to-read level indicator. In the photo below, you can see the little silver ball indicating what position the seat should be in. It's very self explanatory. This is an awesome feature to have. It really comes in handy for my hubby, he is clueless about this stuff so it really helps!
As for the Trail Hiker 3-Wheel Stroller, here are some of my favorite features...
The adjustable seat is easy and quick to move into the position that is perfect for your child. For now, we are keeping Baby Jack in the fully reclined position. When Gracie hops in there, it is super easy to pull the strap and raise the seat for her. Baby Jack has been using this stroller since he was around 4 months old and the amount of incline has been perfect for him.
The adjustable handle bar is great because I am a shorty and my hubby is much taller.
The 5-Point Harness is comfy and safe along with the shoulder pads. Jack was about 4 months old in this photo below...
They 'One Hand Fold' on the handle bar is great too. This stroller is really easy to collapse. We take this stroller everywhere we go and I can have this ready to go instantly or taken down instantly. Oh and I love the little compartment for our iPods (or phones). The iPod/Phone can stay put and secure inside the compartment and the wire to the ear phones comes out through the little hole. I think that's so cool, what a great idea!
Also available in two other colors: Blue Peak and Limeaid
Overall, the Eddie Bauer Trail Hiker 3-Wheel Travel System is perfect for us. We love the size of the infant car seat and the stroller is super easy to use with and without the car seat attached and perfect for our trips to the mall or walks outside. When Baby Jack falls asleep in the car, we can just snap his car seat right into the stroller. If we are at home then we just put Baby Jack directly in the stroller.
In my opinion, the only negitive issue we've had is steering. I noticed during Christmas shopping at the mall, when my hands were full of shopping bags or coffee cups and I was trying to steer one-handed, it's wasn't the easiest thing to do. The stroller wasn't totally coopertive.
Other than that, we do love the Eddie Bauer Trail Hiker 3-Wheel Travel System and would recommend getting it if you have a little one on the way.
The Eddie Bauer Trail Hiker 3-Wheel Travel System Collection is available at Target regularly for $249.99 but can be purchased right now for $199.00. I am not sure how long that price will last so hurry!
