I want to join the Mamavation Sistahood!
I want to be a sista!
So here's the deal. Trista, from Anderson's Angels, and I were hosting Fitness Fridays before the holidays hit us. Then I decided to take a break because I am sooooo not strong enough to keep eating healthy with Halloween candy and Thanksgiving food and Christmas cookies and candies staring me in the face and teasing me. Not to mention, in colder weather - I DO NOT WANT TO MOVE. I have absolutely NO motivation what-so-ever. So we put it on hold.
Well... what did that do to me? Made me even MORE of a fatty. So I am back to square one. I still have 30-ish pounds to lose. I still do not fit into my pre-maternity clothes.
So... now comes the first of the year. Happy New Year, by the way :)
It's time to lose this weight. It's time to stop feeling like a cow. It's time that I feel hot again. It's time that I feel good enough to show some skin again.
Me and the hubby decided to join a local gym and I signed up for a couple of blog 'jobs' that involve losing weight. One thing I get to do is I get to review a Striiv Smart Pedometer. I also signed up for an opportunity through Mamavation. Mamavation is going to be choosing 25 bloggers to join a 30 day challenge with Omron Fitness. If I am chosen, I will be provided with Strapless Heart Rate Monitors from Omron Fitness and then I will need to try to lose the most weight for the challenge to win more.
So... since I will be doing these things I decided to start up Fitness Friday again with Trista.
And I will also be linking up Mamavation Monday posts. This is basically the same idea as Fitness Fridays. I will be posting about my goals and accomplishments to get healthy and lose weight.
As for the Mamavation Sistahood, you have to "pledge" and be asked "in". Just like a sorority haha. Anyway I want IN! I need the motivation and support from others just like me. So PLEASE... accept me! I REALLY want to lose this weight! I have between 30-35 lbs to lose and I am SERIOUS. I have a Disney vacation coming up this summer and I am determined to fit back into all of my clothes. Plus, it would be nice to look good on the beach :)

When you have demonstrated that you are serious about supporting other women and learning a healthy lifestyle @Bookieboo will ask you publicly on twitter. After she asks you and you accept you will be added to the Sistahood Membership list and given an official Mamavation twitter background.
