Wordless Wednesday – of course, never wordless…
Well… I know it’s almost mid-October but I have a “first day of school” post. Yes, I know I am a couple month late on this and all of you did this already. But the school I wanted my Gracie in was not able to evaluate her until the end of September so she just started school last week.

On the way home, she was waving at me from the window before the bus stopped.

This was her first day of Pre-K:

I took her to school for the first 3 days and then starting today she rode the bus for the first time.
She was super scared and cried the whole time we got ready for school.
Waiting for the bus she was still crying.
She actually said to me, “Mommy I wish you were a kid so you could ride the bus with me” – Poor thing!

But…
Her Daddy is her bus driver so as soon as she saw him, she was okay!

ReplyDeleteShe's seriosuly such a cute girly girl!! :) Love her purple dress and the pic of her crying is so sad!! I bet daddy being the bus driver was a pleasant surprise! :) Glad she's ok with it all now!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that's so sweet and hysterical! Did she not know her daddy was the bus driver? lol I'm glad she was able to end the day on a positive note!
ReplyDeleteYeah she knew, he purposley took this bus route so that he would pass the house every day. We go outside everyday and he stops the bus, opens the door and says hi to us everyday. Sometimes we bake him and his helper a little treat and we give it to them when they stop. And although we do this every single day, Gracie is STILL so scared of the bus. So even though she knew Daddy was going to be in there - it didn't matter, she was still so worried. BUT once she got on, she was okay. And of course, he did good with her helping to make her not so worried :)
Deletegood luck!!
