Lullaby Earth Crib Mattress

A few months ago we decided to start getting our room ready for Baby Jack. We put together Gracie’s toddler bed although she’s not sleeping in it yet. She is still sleeping in her crib, which will be Baby Jack’s crib… eventually.

Either way, both crib mattresses are old so I wanted to start looking for new one’s. We purchased Gracie’s crib mattress before she was born, back in early 2009 and the crib mattress that we are using for Gracie’s toddler bed was just recently given to us as a ‘hand-me-down’.


Besides the mattresses being old, my main concern is the chemicals used in the typical crib mattress. I’d love to find a mattress that is organic and non-toxic.

This is how I came across Lullaby Earth. I actually contacted Naturepedic and found out that the same people who make Naturepedic mattresses just launched Lullaby Earth. I love both companies due to the fact that they make their mattresses with no harmful chemicals or allergens.

Ready for my opinion?

I really do love our 2-Stage Crib Mattress from Lullaby Earth.

The very first thing I noticed was how light it was. I lifted the crib mattress out of the box instantly with no hassle or strain what so ever. When they say “super lightweight” – they aren’t kidding! If you’ll notice in my photo on the right, I am holding this mattress up with only one hand while shooting the photo:

In the photo on the left, I wanted to show how nice and snug this mattress lays in the crib. It fits directly against the crib bars. The other two crib mattresses we had, have more rounded edges and do not fit snug at all. I feel so much safer using my Lullaby Earth Crib Mattress.

Not only does it fit our crib so much better, but I feel much more confident knowing that our new mattress is non-toxic and chemical free.

Just flip the mattress depending on who you are using the mattress for. Weather I am using it for Gracie in her toddler bed or Baby Jack in the crib, there will be no confusion due to the handy label.
