Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Recipe–SUPER EASY!

I was peeking around Pinterest for about an hour a few minutes the other night and found an awesome recipe for Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese. The only problem with the recipe I found was that it had a billion ingredients and a billion steps and would take me way too much time to make… and time is one thing I just do not have a lot of. With all these toddlers running around here, I need something super quick!

So… I decided to make my own version of Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese for us lazy people :)

BUFFALO CHICKEN GRILLED CHEESE

011Ingredients

  • Bread (I had to use plain old white sandwich bread, but I wanted to use the Texas bread)
  • Any kind of chicken. (I used Tyson breaded chicken strips)
  • Cheddar Cheese (I used Mozzarella Cheddar)
  • Frank’s Red Hot Sauce (I used the thick kind)
  • Butter

Make grilled cheese the way you normally do but add the extras!

How easy is that?!?

Here’s what I did:

I warmed up the chicken strips first, cut them and mixed them with the hot sauce:BuffaloChicken.2

Then I buttered the outside of both pieces of bread and put them in the pan with cheese on both inside pieces and then added the chicken: BuffaloChicken.3

Once the cheese was melted, I slapped it all together and…

YUMMY!!

Of course, Mike and I are a bit crazy about hot sauce so we always add more to whatever we are eating.

And this sandwich was awesome dipped in ranch salad dressing!023

So there ya have it!

And in case you are wondering, this sandwich goes great with Dorito’s Buffalo flavor chips! Well, that’s what we had anyway :)

My “lazy version” of Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese inspired by the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese I found on Pinterest the other day. If you have the time, try out that recipe, I’d love to know how it is! It’s too bad I just don’t have the time to make it.

And If you love my Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese then share it!

Now, if I had the ingredients on hand, I would have added some onion or green pepper. I think next time I’d like to try making this with bbq sauce instead and I’d also like to try making it with salsa too. I think those two would be awesome!

What do you think?
