Carousel Designs Review

"From its start as a small family business in 1988, Carousel Designs has grown to become an award-winning national online retailer and trusted brand of premium baby bedding, twin bedding and home décor.

Jonathan Hartley continues the family tradition of ownership as CEO with his business partner Allan Sicat, president. Hartley and Sicat are both dads of young children as well as graduates of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and former U.S. Army officers.

They take special pride in the fact that all Carousel Designs baby bedding products are made in the U.S.A.”

Carousel Designs is a proud sponsor of Operation Shower, which is a baby shower honoring expecting military moms who’s husbands are deployed. This will be held outside Atlanta on September 21, 2011.

Carousel Designs has an amazing selection of bedding designs from solids, prints and 100 percent certified organic fabrics. Their crib bedding sets are fun and modern designs in unique color combinations.

Carousel Designs offers more than 100 pre-designed ready to ship crib bedding collections and more than 300 fabrics to choose from in a range of versatile styles.

And as if their fantastic selection isn’t enough, Carousel Designs has a unique online Nursery Designer® which allows parents to design and create their own virtual nursery online!

By using this unique Nursery Designer tool, parents can design their very own custom crib bedding and view their virtual nursery online. You can create a unique room for your little one that nobody else has!

Carousel Designs is a favorite of celebrities including Selma Blair and Laila Ali, both who have nurseries done in Carousel Designs bedding. (I wonder if they designed their own or chose one of the many designs?)

I received the Girly Owl Crib Blanket.

This super cozy blanket is 34" x 43" and Solid Bright Pink Minky on the reverse side. It’s so soft, I love it!

This beautiful Girly Owl Blanket is the perfect size for Gracie's crib and will continue to be the perfect size because her crib will be converted into a toddler bed soon.

My favorite feature of this blanket is that it is thick, but light weight. I know that doesn’t sound like it makes sense, but it’s true. I love that this blanket is light weight, but I love even more that it is so thick. I usually give Gracie two light blankets in her crib at night time, but this blanket is thick enough that I only need it, and no other blankets. I really do love it!

As you can see below, Gracie is ecstatic about her new owl blankie! She will not sleep without it and when she wakes up in the morning or after nap-time, she brings this blanket out and snuggles on the couch with it.

I’d love to browse Carousel Designs for some matching sheets soon. Especially since there is so much to chose from that will match this Girlie Owl Crib Blanket. Check out the swatches that match:

I am thinking… the stripes. I’d love the striped crib sheet to match Gracie’s Owl Blanket! There is also a square decorative Girlie Owl Pillow that matches this set!

  2. Fingers crossed for this one! The rooms in your post are so cute. We just moved into a new house and my poor son's room is just thrown together. If I made it more "him" maybe he'd sleep in there! :)
